We know that fast turnaround aids in diagnosis and treatment. Our radiologists will make every effort to send a report to the referring physicians within 24 hours of the test.

Understanding MRI and its Benefits

To look inside the body in detail, MRIs use radio waves, a large magnet and a computer, all without the use of radiation. The images show internal organs, blood vessels, muscles, joints, tumors, areas of infection and more. Depending on the test areas, the actual imaging process may take 15 to 30 minutes, with no recovery time needed. Your physician may also order an MRA (magnetic resonance angiography). This exam is used to evaluate vascular abnormalities, such as vascular malformations, aneurysms and carotid atherosclerosis. In addition to neurological MRI, we offer musculoskeletal imaging of:

  • Wrist
  • Pelvis
  • Elbow
  • Hand
  • Shoulder
  • Ankle
  • Knee
  • Hip

We perform these tests in a comfortable setting with experienced staff who help you along the entire process.
